The workshop is at Cilfynydd, so Pontypridd is not a place we travel to. It is where we are. Forty years of wardrobes have gone into houses within a couple of miles of the bench they were built on.
Valleys terraces have their own particular set of problems and we have solved most of them more than once. Rooms narrower than a city terrace. Ceilings a bit lower, so every inch of height counts. A chimney breast with one usable alcove rather than two. Back bedrooms that were never meant to hold more than a single bed and now have to hold two people's clothes.

Floors that run downhill from one end of the room to the other, walls that have moved with the ground over a hundred and twenty years, and door frames that have not been square since before anyone living there was born. None of it stops a fitted run going in. It just has to be measured properly and scribed on the day, which is what our fitters do anyway.Then there are the newer estates up towards Glyncoch and out at Church Village, where the rooms are square and the ceilings lower again. Different job, same answer. Mirror doors, floor to ceiling, and a small square bedroom stops feeling like one.

The workshop is at Cilfynydd, on the Albion Industrial Estate, about five minutes from the middle of Pontypridd. Most of the wardrobes in this town were made within walking distance of the house they went into.

Your doors are cut and built at Cilfynydd, a couple of miles from most of Pontypridd. The person who measures your room works at the place they are made.
Our own fitter, not a subcontractor
Fitting day is one of our own team, not somebody handed your address that morning. If something needs adjusting we come back ourselves.

Not in a house of that age, no. Half the houses in this town have moved with the ground and our fitters scribe and adjust on the day so the doors run properly and the run sits level.
That is the room sliding doors were made for. A hinged door needs two feet of clear floor to open and a small back bedroom does not have it. Mirror doors on a narrow room make a real difference to how big it feels.
Yes. A run does not have to be symmetrical. We build to the wall you have got rather than the wall the catalogue assumes.
