1. Who we are

SP Mirror Wardrobes Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 09551981, with its registered office at Unit 6 Albion Industrial Estate, Cilfynydd Road, Pontypridd, Mid Glamorgan, CF37 4NX.

We are the data controller for the information described in this policy, which means we are responsible for how it is handled.

2. What we collect

When you fill in the form on this website, we collect your name, your phone number, your email address, the area or postcode you are in, what your enquiry is about, anything you write in the message box, and any photographs you choose to upload.

When you ring us or message us on WhatsApp, we collect your phone number and whatever you tell us during that conversation. WhatsApp messages are stored on the phone used to receive them, and WhatsApp itself is operated by Meta, whose own privacy terms apply to the message being carried.

When you email us, we collect your email address and the contents of your message.

When you book or take a design visit, we collect your address, measurements and details of the room, and the design we produce for you.

When you visit this website, we may collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you looked at, through cookies and analytics.

We do not collect or ask for any special category data, and we have no reason to. Please do not send us health, financial or other sensitive information through the form.

3. Photographs you send us

The form lets you upload photographs of the room you are thinking about. We use those only to understand the space and give you a better idea of price before we visit.

We will not publish a photograph of your home, or use it in our gallery, on social media or in any advertising, unless you have specifically told us we can.

If you would like a photograph deleted, email us and we will remove it.

4. Why we use your information, and our lawful basis

We use your information to answer your enquiry, arrange and carry out a design visit, prepare a quotation, and if you go ahead, to manufacture, deliver and fit your wardrobes and provide aftercare and warranty support.

Where you have asked us for a quote or placed an order, our lawful basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or to perform that contract.

Where you have made a general enquiry, our lawful basis is legitimate interests, namely responding to somebody who has asked us to get in touch. We have considered your rights and we do not think replying to your own enquiry is something you would object to.

Where we keep records for accounting and tax, our lawful basis is legal obligation.

Where we use non-essential cookies or analytics, our lawful basis is your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

5. Marketing

We do not sell your details to anybody, and we do not pass them to third parties for their own marketing.

If we ever want to send you anything that is not directly about your own enquiry or order, we will ask you first, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

6. How long we keep it

We do not keep anything for longer than we need it.

7. Who else sees it

We keep your information within the business and share it only where we have to in order to do the job.

That may include our email provider, our website hosting provider, and our accountant. Each of them acts on our instructions and is required to keep your information secure.

If you send us photographs, they are stored with our email and file storage provider.

We may also use Google Maps on this website, which is provided by Google and may set cookies or collect technical data when a map loads.

We will disclose information if we are legally required to, for example to a regulator or in connection with legal proceedings.

We do not transfer your information outside the UK ourselves, though some of the providers above may store data elsewhere under appropriate safeguards.

8. Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, including access controls on the accounts and devices we use.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information while it is being transmitted to us over the internet.

9. Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies. Some are necessary for the site to work and cannot be turned off. Others help us understand how the site is being used, and those are only set if you agree through the cookie banner.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the banner, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
